beautythroughhealth’s recovery necessities giveaway


hey everyone! a lot of you know that i am temporarily closing my etsy, tranquilminds, while i am in treatment for anorexia. tranquilminds specializes in jewelry for eating disorder, self-harm, and mental illness recovery. since i really do feel bad about having to shut down for a while, i put together this giveaway full of stuff i think would be beneficial to recovery of any kind!

this giveaway consists of:

  • two candles (vanilla scented & hazelnut cream scented) - because a nicely scented room is the best thing to end a hard day with.
  • one bottle of sparkly red nail polish - because painting your nails is an awesome way to distract yourself from urges to engage in behaviors that could hinder your recovery.
  • one teddy bear - because everyone needs a cuddle buddy! (if it helps, you can name it ‘shannon’ and pretend to be cuddling with me)
  • two face masks (gogi berry & avocado) - because pampering yourself just feels good, ok?
  • one journal - because writing down your feelings is ridiculously therapeutic. 
  • one package of gel pens - i shouldn’t even have to give you a reason because they’re GEL PENS. (but seriously it’s fun to make journal entries pretty and stuff, you know?)
  • one lisa frank coloring book - who doesn’t want to relive their childhood? (plus this is another great activity to distract yourself from negative thoughts!)
  • one handmade purple dragonfly bracelet - so that you can wear a constant reminder of your recovery!
  • one package of stress & tension relief bath soak - because recovery is hard work! reward yourself with a relaxing aromatherapy bath.
